The structure of each box is made of a single kind of solid wood, thereby ensuring a resonance quality as high as that from wooden violins, guitars, etc. The client is offered a clear and amazing sound unparalleled by other brands.
The veneer is made of various species from our region as well as exotic which are thoroughly chosen according to their grain and the elegance of their color.
All marquetry motifs decorating our boxes are true wood and manufactured in two different ways : by marquetry saw, in our facilities in Bordeaux or by laser cutting for those manufactured in Italy. Those colors which do not exist in nature are achieved by the most precious inks or trempage. The shading is done by the traditional hot sand method, largely used in France.
The external finishing is made of brilliant varnish, thereby giving the impression of a glass layer over the box. Furthermore, this finishing is quite resistant to scratches.
