The Woods
The structure of each body and lid of the boxes, made of a single piece of wood, has a resonance quality equal to that used for the manufacture of certain musical instruments such as wooden guitars, violins,etc.. Thus, the auditor can hear a bright and clear sound reproduction unmatched on the market.
The veneer made of regional or exotic woods are all carefully selected for the richness of their veins and elegance of their colour.
The marquetry motifs adorning the covers of our boxes are made of real wood and produced in two
different ways: by inlay saw for boxes made in Bordeaux or by laser for boxes made in Italy. The colours,non-existent on the veneers, are done by soaking dye. Shade is created traditionally with warm sand.
Exterior finishes are achieved by a glossy varnish and thus they give the impression that a sheet of glass covers our boxes. Consequently, they are highly resistant against scrapes.
The interior of some models of boxes is lined with a thick royal blue velvet of high quality. Other models feature a bright red, blue or brown felt. Some jewellery boxes have a display for rings on top of the empty space.
